Sports has always been a passion of mine.  I captured this shot during the NCAA Division II Soccer Championship at Pfeiffer University on a very cold night.  I was attending Catawba Valley Community College at the time to further my photography skills and decided to enter it into the Best of College and High School Photography.   More than 13,000 entries was received and this image was chosen as a finalist and published in the 2017 publication.
